Colour Matching

Today our first lesson was in colour matching what foundations fit the person skin.

step 1:

firstly we would sterlize the counter making sure that the counter had the approprite hygine standards

secondly we then would set up the counter making sure that we had all the right eqipment

i then cleasened my clients face making sure that my client had all her previous make up off

i then mostrized her face and then started using MAC face and body with a blending brush

however before i used a conceler brush and used a bit of c8 and N9 mixed together on the corner of her face to see weather it was the correct shde before applying on the whole face

when it was the correct shade i then blended the product in with my blending brush

as i wanted to keep the dewey look as Mac face and body is a very lighweight product that has a natural finish i decided to use some stobing cream to add a nice illumiating effect to the skin

i then finally added a bit of bronzer to add a light contour to give the face a bit of defination and not just one dimention with just the foundation on it

just to st the foundation i used a bit of transulcnt powder in only her t-zone so that it didnt take away her dewey look away from her

Evulation

i feel that i have achevied alot in that lesson and i feel the colour match was correct. i felt that i gave my best ability when the task was delegated. I think that the only thing that was missing was a nice cream blush to add more colour to the face as i think cream blush would still not make it matt but keep the natural dewey look that we are going for. Also i should of added a nice plain lip for the lips just again adding more colour and defination for the face. Overall i think that i did a good job.
