Setting Curls

In this lesson we learnt how to set curls. Before starting the treatment on the client i made sure i sterlized the work station. I then laid out the correct equipment ready for the client.

Step 1:

wash the block hair with shampoo and give a quick rinse as the hair has to be damp to put the rollers in

i then sectioned the hair into 4 with a tooth pick comb

i then clipped all 4 sections up with grips

i then took a small section out from the front 2 sections making sure that it was in the center of the head.

i then got a roller and made sure the hair was not too much for the roller as it would not hold.

i then combed the small section before putting the roller

i then got the roller and ran it through from the bottom to the top then starting to roll it in till it was tight. then i clipped it in

i continued that process untill it was almost done.

however on the side i made sure that i did those ones on angle

i then placed under a dryed on heat 30 degrees until dried throughly so that the curls would take and form.

Evulation

i feel that hair was not my strongest point, but i tried to complete the task to my best ability. next time i think i should of done the rollers more tight as i feel they were loose and because they were loose the curls didint really form.
