how to shampoo and condition

In this lesson we learnt how to shampoo and condition. However before I even started I ensured that the sink where to wash the hair was sanitised and in working order before carrying out treatment. step one analyse clients hair before starting treatment to see weather it is dry, colour damage or healthy then pick the correct shampoo after asking the clients hair ask the client to sit down but you need to check the temperature of the water on the wrist making sure it was not too hot or too cold then lean back your clients head into the bowl and start to add the warm water to the hair checking to see weather the temperature is okay for client the amount of shampoo of the hair will be different depending of the length and thickness of hair add the shampoo gently massaging into the scalp using various techniques such as effulage and rotary message making sure the product is evenly distributed through the hair then wash out throughly after that you need to apply conditioner to the hair again using the effulage and petrissage massage after that then rinse out carefully making sure you do not get the clients face wet After that you then wrap a towl round to avoid any dripping of the hair and the client to go and sit back in the styling chair when they have sat back down on the styling chair use a towel to squeeze out any excess water and then gently comb through the hair ready for the next steps

Evulation As I washed my wig in class i still used the same technique and made sure that I used a treatment after the condioner and left on for a further 20 mins as my hair was very dull and dry and needed to be revalitzed to get rid of the dull and dryness.
