Marc Jacobs ss/14

Marc jacobs is an american designer and is the head for marc jacobs as well as marc by marc jacobs. He is known for his cretive style pieces of clothing right down to handbags and jewlrey. In 2010 he was listed on time magazine as the top 100 influential people of the world.

the make up was very edgy and a slightly gothic. the foundationwas very light and the eyebrows where just neatly brushed and groomed. They paid alot of attention to the eyes and the contour on the chhek bones. They have used a vairety of bold colours for the eyeliner such as blue and green. They have done a black flick eyeiner on the top of the eye and then in the waterline of the eye they have used a grren or blue to add a pop of clour to the eyes. Again the lips have just a clear gloss of no colour.

the products probably used:

mac face and body as its light sheer coverage

bronzing powder for the contour

black gel eyeliner

blue or green eyeliner pencil for the waterline inside the eye

For the hair they have gone for a vey edge cut with sharp chpoppyl ayers in the hair and a full fringe again cut very edgy with a choppy style of cut. Personally i believe that these were wigs that were made in that cut and placed on the models head as all modles have got the same cut with one or two with highlighted colour of green or blue streaks.

the products to add more of a sleek egdgy look would be:

hairspay to hold the edgy look

soft gel like wax to keep its glossy fininsh but also achieve this light acicular texture

I would change how the wigs were personally made as i would do an elestic band and use a lace closure to make i look more real as i think you can tell to easily that it is a wig. I like the make up i wouldnt change anything as i like the contasting colurs that they have choosen .

the fashion side looked lovely and relly complimented the hair and make-up as he choose to have two contrasting colours again the style was very gothic and out theire. The main colours where green, navy, brown and blue which goes with the make-up. The style was very broad sholders, tassles, and embroided jackets, he accompanied them with the hipster shorts. He also did this for the dresses too.
