Contrasting colours

In this lesson we learnt how to do a contrasting smoky eye that don't not attract in a colour wheel. I then made sure that I laid out all the correct equipment and sterilised the tables all ready for the client. Step 1 I removed any make up off the skin I then prep the skin with mac moisturiser and sprayed mac fix spray so when applying the foundation it would look dwey I then started to do the smokey eye I chose blue and orange and green. I used my smashbox eyeshadow #13 brush to apply your the crease first and blended it out so that it could have the smokey effect I then went back in n did orange at the beginning and mixed with green towards the end off the eye to get that colour variation of a smokey eye. using my smashbox eyeshadow brush #12. the colour pallet I used was the urban decay electric pallett in shades gonzo, slowburn and chaos to achieve this look After that I using mac face and body in shade nc35 and nc15 to get that dewy coverage that still looks nice and light but still gives you coverage as it's buildable I then used smashbox warm matte bronzer to do a slight contour. On the Lips I used kroylan bright florescent lip chalks then went over with mac embrace me to give it that colour pop. I then went over the brown with the orange eyeshadow and crushed through and then held in place with the mac brow gel in brunette. Evualtion I feel that I carried out the task to my best ability. I feel that I could of done the smokey eye a bit neater and also maybe if I added some pigments to really make the colour contrast stand out and really pop. I'm happy with the skin the sharp contour as u really think that compliments the look and the Lips were nicely filled in and lined. Overall I am happy with this piece
