Bobbi Brown

Another on of my favourite make up artists is bobbi brown, i really like her because she is one of the most sucessful make up artists. she graduated from Emerson College in boston with a degree in theatrical make-up, she then moved to new york and decided to become a professional make up artist. Bobbi brown was then known for her make up stylke that included moderate and natural tones, which was very differnt to then as it was offten bright colours in that era. She made sure that she brought out diversty to thye make up industry which led to her taking the industry by storm

In 1991 her and a chemist decided to launch their own brand of lipsticks called bobbi brown essisentials which they launched at Bergdorf goodman in new york. Due to this being such a big hit with everyone she decided to increase the line adding more tones of foundations,eyeliners, blushers etc, and a skincare range. Due to the range being so succesfull estee lauder bought the company in 1995.

Bobbi brown has also worked with alot of magazines shoot covers such as Elle, Vogue, self and town country. she has also worked with a lot of celebrities to do their make up for the red carpet such as Katie holmes,Jeniffer Laurence and many more. She was recently added on the Jersey hall of fame part of class 2013.

One of my favourit looks of baboy brown is the one that i attatched. I feel that it shows that their is equality and that bobbi brown make up is also for darker shades. I also think that the way the make up is so beautifully done, but having such a natural look that still looks fresh face but still shows that their is coverage is very hard but she has managed to achieve that. I love the feathered look eyebrow on the the causcasion skin is very on trend . I love the blusher they put on Lupita Long it relly suits her cheek bones and adds some colour and warmth to her skin. I love the fact they have also just left the lips with just a clear balm or lip gloss to add that natural look which is fresh faced and airy which is very on trend right now.
